Classroom Assignments
Teachers will be emailing families to welcome them to their class on the morning of Friday, August 29. They will provide you with information about the first day (where to meet, what to bring, etc). If you have not received an email by 12:00 PM, you are welcome to contact the school office and we will connect you with your child’s teacher.
Teachers have spent many hours and worked extremely hard to make balanced classes for next year and to find the best placement for each child. They know their students very well and take many, many factors into consideration when creating classes. Placement requests for friends or for particular teachers will not be considered, unless parents have information we do not have and under the most extreme circumstances.
Save the Dates
- First Day Coffee – Tuesday, September 2 at 8:45 AM. This is an opportunity for parents to reconnect and to meet new families once the children are in class. Depending on weather, this will be in Sipistou'pakaiks (Owl’s Nest Garden) or the learning commons.
- Welcome Back Picnic - Thursday, September 4 at 5:00 PM. This is a casual evening designed to build community and provide an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and to get to meet new people.
