Dear Altadore Families,

We would like to begin with a huge thank you to our current School Council, who always ensure our students and staff are well taken care of! The time, energy, and generosity of the Council allow our students to have so many “extras” at Altadore. Thank you to everyone who sat on council, who attended the meetings this year, who volunteered their time, or those who donated money or other resources. We would like to particularly thank Dayna Jansen who lead the Council as Chair during two very unprecedented years. From effectively navigating the transition to online meetings, to her willingness to get involved in so many different initiatives, we are so grateful for her leadership during this time. Thank you, Dayna, for all of your hard work the past two years! We would also like to take this time to welcome Julie Lowry into the Chair position. Julie has been involved with Altadore School in various ways over the years, and we are grateful and excited that she has offered to step into this new role!

We would also like to take this opportunity to share that we will be continuing with the same multi-graded configuration that we implemented this year. We are planning to have three Kindergarten classes, five Grade 1/2 classes, four Grade 3/4 classes, and four Grade 5/6 classes. Just a reminder that registration is ongoing, so the number of classes could change in September depending on changes to enrollment.
