Dear Altadore Families,

Staffing:  Welcome to Pat Kaiserseder who is filling in for Meagan Lundgren while she is recovering from ankle surgery.  We also want you to know that Mrs. Teresa Watson has resigned from the CBE as her husband has been transferred to Midland Texas.  Her last day of work will be on Friday, September 23.  She will be dearly missed - but we are happy she has such an exciting opportunity.

Terry Fox:  Thank you to everyone who supported our Terry Fox Run on Friday.  Our volunteers had everything set up for us, there was a great turnout of parents and siblings who joined us for the Run, and the weather cooperated!  It was wonderful to see.

Construction:  Construction continues along 16th Avenue.  It has now moved to the intersection of 16th and 45 Avenue.  The last we checked, that intersection is closed to both traffic and pedestrians.  Hopefully, it will be done soon.

School Council:  We had a great turnout of about 35 parents!  As soon as we have finalized the minutes, we will post them on the Altadore School website and put a link in the Weekly Update.
