Altadore School’s Direct Donation Campaign is Underway! 

Instead of dragging parents through the usual fundraising chaos, the Altadore School Parents’ Association decided to switch things up! We created the Direct Donation Campaign, letting parents skip the hassle, and donate straight to the cause, so we can focus on building strong community spirit through diverse learning activities and opportunities beyond the standard curriculum.

No middleman, just pure support flowing straight to Altadore students, making life easier for parents and giving students the ultimate educational boost!

The Altadore School Parents' Association is a registered charity and provides tax receipts for your donations, and many families also take advantage of company matching programs to ensure even more support for our children!

Partnership with COBS Bread Marda Loop

Did you know Altadore School has a partnership with COBS Bread Marda Loop? When you are shopping at that location, please mention you are affiliated with Altadore School before you pay. COBS employees will log your purchase and, as a community partner, will donate 5% of the bill back to our school. Shop for quality local products and support your school at the same time!


There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) Donation
  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
    • Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters  (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
  • I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
    • ​Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education  and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.
