Oki Hello Altadore Families
Spring is almost here, and we hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather! Don’t forget to move your clocks ahead this weekend as we spring forward.
International Women’s Day was on Saturday, March 8, and we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the achievements, strength, and contributions of women here in our
Altadore School family and around the world. This is a great opportunity to have meaningful conversations with your children about equality, empowerment, and leadership. This week, we also recognize and appreciate our amazing substitute teachers who step in to support our students when our regular teachers are away. We really couldn’t keep functioning without their help and hard work.
Thanks to Tessa (Grade 6) and her mom (Kelly), we have an exciting Fun Fit Ringette opportunity with Ringette Alberta! A coach will be visiting our school this Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, and they’ve kindly provided equipment for students to use until Spring Break.
Be sure to check below for more details on upcoming events, including parent-teacher conferences, the book fair, and fun lunch!
Have a fantastic week! |

School Planning Engagement
A gentle reminder that parents still have time to review information about our school planning, including our school development plan, school budget, and fees. We ask that you review the videos and complete the surveys, sharing your perspectives.
- Watch this short video to learn about the planning work schools do to improve and support student learning.
- Look at the School Planning presentation that was shared at the February School Council meeting, which includes the school development plan, school budget and school fees.
The survey is open from February 19 to March 31, 2025. Please click here to complete the survey.
